“In 2010 we started this charity golf tournament to honor our mother, Carol Ann Donato who was taken from us by cancer. We wanted to celebrate her memory and help aide the war on cancer by supporting cancer research..... Since then, our tournament evolved into something more..... something that my mother would be proud to be apart of by helping local children and their families create memories and alleviate the pressures that cancer brings”
— Mike Donato

Our Mission

To provide aid and relief to local families affected by cancer and other illnesses.  CFTC is Dedicated to Mrs. Carol Ann Donato and honors beneficiaries past or present.  We want to help eradicate cancer and these types of terminal illnesses.

CFTC raises funds for aid and relief in the war against cancer.  The fundraising activities will focus mainly on sporting events.   Net Funds raised will be contributed to qualified individuals and /or families suffering or afflicted by cancer or, tax exempt charities and organizations that provide cancer related services such as research, treatment, early detection, family support, hospice, and education.

Golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks from good shots; you get good breaks from bad shots - but you have to play the ball where it lies.
